Google Plus - D new sensation of Social Networking

Google has finally unveiled Google+, the company's top secret social layer that turns all of the search engine into one giant social network and started the battle with his biggest rival Facebook.
Google Inc is making its boldest move to take on Facebook in the fast-growing social networking market and to maintain its dominance on the Web.
Google, which has been frustrated by a string of failed attempts to crack the social networking market, introduced a full-fledged social network on
It is the company's biggest foray into social networking since co-founder Larry Page took over as chief executive in April.
Page has made social networking a top priority at the world's No. 1 Internet search engine, whose position as the main gateway to online information could be at risk as people spend more time on sites like Facebook and Twitter.
After orkut went down (cz of Facebook) Google started it's new project and finally launched it.
Google + is very much similar to Facebook or you can say an advanced version of Facebook.
There is "like" button in Facebook so Google lauched the "+1" button.
Existing users are allowed to invite friends, who are above 18 years of age.
Google+ will also be available as a desktop application and as an application on Android and iOS operating systems.
This is Google's biggest attempt to rival the social network Facebook, which had over 750 million users in 2011.
Google Plus has some new features which will for sure attract you all.
1. There are no friendship requests. You add a person to any of your circle. That’s it. The other person would get a notification. But no compulsion to accept or refuse.
2. Quickly check updates from individual circles. Including from people who have added you and you have not added them back.
3. The notification box in the navigation bar allows you to do almost everything. You can even create new posts right from the navigation bar. And this navigation bar is going to be available from all Google services. So, this is pretty awesome.
4. You can follow people to get their public updates. It’s like Twitter.
5.
6. You can mute individual posts. That is good. But you cannot mute a person from featuring in your incoming stream. The only option is to block them.
So, does this mean that Google Plus is going to be a Facebook Killer?
